WOW.
I'm home, and it's what, 12:44am. I report truthfully that:
A) The timing on every single one of my blog posts are inaccurate.
B) I'm home this late only because of the Church Elders. (Pastors, leaders. Guest Pastor Benny Ho, and my Mother.) Geez, I thought adults were responsible.
Today, Pastor Benny Ho came to our church to preach a sermon. I always liked listening to his sermons. He starts off his sermons with amusing statements that catch your attention :D
He began his sermon like this:
"A young pastor was asked to pastor a church overseas, and made his way to a new country, familiarizing himself with it for a week before going to the first church event. This event happened to be a dinner, and the pastor was queuing up to get his food, since the dinner was in a buffet style.
He came to a lady who was distributing chicken (lol haha). He smiled and requested a second piece, since he was feeling extra hungry. Firmly, she shook her head. 'A piece per person. Please move on.' she said.
The pastor was confused. He'd used both please and thank you, plus he was new, and the church's new pastor, too. He decided trying to pull rank. 'Perhaps you don't understand who i am.' He prompted.
She shook her head and waved her chopsticks. 'Perhaps you don't know who i am.' She replied slightly testily. 'I'm the lady in charge of chicken. Kindly move on.'"
And everyone laughed :D Cause the way he said it made it really funneh.
Well, either way. It's late.
CIP in 13 hours!!! O,O Gosh.
Verse of The Day:John 2:1-11 (Jesus Changes Water to Wine)
1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus' mother was there,
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no more wine."
4 "Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come."
5 His mother said to the servants, "Do whatever he tells you."
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so,
9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10 and said, "Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now."
11 This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him.
Cause If You're Not Really There,
I Don't Wanna Be Either,
I Wanna Be Next To You,
Black And Gold,
Black And Gold...
